As I develop more skills with digital painting, I feel compelled to go back to older illustrations and fix them up. The problem with this compulsion is that I’m not adding any new material to my portfolio. The benefit of working on pieces that are already ‘finished’, however, is I can focus entirely on the flaws and how to improve them.
